Why did I chose an answer like other students on BE class?

Explaination : Show example in BE calss. 

I entered to my hotel when I was so tried. I tried to go to bed, but I heard some arguments that people was talking loudly. My sleep is interrupted due to loud sound, the moment that I go outside a door because I was angry, I heard "pang" like gun sounds. At the moment, I was scared and hesitated for a few seconds. As soon as I decide, when I opend the door, there are people from various race.

 

Q : I couldn't chose answer about question such as who looks like crimal, who help me, who do you look like victim etc. If then, why didn't I chose the answer like others that chose easily the answer?

 

A : I'm likely to make some prejudice. Even if I know this is my prejudice, I feel like I couldn't change any prejudice forever if I check the answer. As a result, I didn't chose any answers. I explained the reason why. Couldn't imagaine. i have watched movies and animation a few times. The Character of movies and animations are from various countries.

 

설명 : 수업에서 예시상황을 보여주었다. 나는 피곤한 몸을 이끌고 호텔로 들어왔다. 침대에 누워 잠들려고 하는데 문 밖에서 몇몇 사람들이 큰소리로 토론하는 것이 들렸다. 큰 소리가 나의 잠을 방해했고, 나는 화가 나 문밖으로 나서려는 순간, "빵"하는 총소리가 들렸다. 문을 나려는 순간 두려워서 몇초간 망설였다. 마음을 먹고 문을 열었을 때 여러 인종들이 있었다.

 

Q : 누가 범인처럼 보이는가, 누가 나를 도와줄 거 같은가, 누가 피해자처럼 보이는가 등등 질문에 대한 대답을 고를 수 없었다. 그렇다면 나는 왜 BE수업에서 다른 사람들처럼 답을 고를 수 없었을까?

 

A : 편견이 생길 거 같았다. 비록 내가 편견이라는 것을 알아도 정답을 체크한다면 영원히 바꿀 수 없을 것처럼 느껴졌다. 결론적으로 나는 어떠한 답도 고르지 않았다. 친구들에게 이유를 설명했다. 상상할 수 없었다고. 비슷한 상황에 대한 영화 혹은 애니메이션을 보았는데 그 캐릭터들이 다양한 사람들이어서.
